Large Italian Gold Leaf Metal and Crystal Deco 12-Lights Chandelier
About the Item
This large and fine 12-lights chandelier was manufactured in Italy in the 1930s. It consists of a golden leaf metal structure with different faceted crystal elements such as obelisks, stars, flowers and crystal drops. The golden leaf metal structure is handmade and spread over 3 levels: the highest level is made up of a series of decorative elements to form a kind of flower. The intermediate level is made up of 6 medium-length arms. The third level, the lower one, is made up of 6 longer arms. Each arm is equipped with a candle-shaped lamp holder, placed at the end.
The vertical rod, also in gilded metal, is covered with decorative elements in transparent glass
The chandelier is equipped with 12 lamp holders (E14 small size). The electrical system has been replaced in full respect of the style of the product.
Item will be shipped completely disassembled in order to avoid any damage.
A pair of sconces from the same collection and period is also available for sale (see the last pictures).

- Condition:Rewired: The wiring is completely replaced in full respect of the chandelier's style. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor structural damages. Item has been dismantled and cleaned in its entirety. The wiring is completely replaced. Very small wear defects due by time. The gold leaf is still very good. Some copper wires replaced. Some small break and chipping of the glass elements few losses.
