Striking large Italian Mid-Century Solid Brass Sputnik Chandelier with Beautiful Patina, 1950s This impressive Italian Sputnik chandelier from the 1950s is a standout example of mid-century modern design, crafted from solid brass and newly restored to showcase its timeless elegance. Featuring eight gracefully radiating arms from a central brass sphere, the design captures the atomic-age spirit with bold, sculptural symmetry. Each arm terminates in a flared, conical shade, contributing to its striking silhouette. The brass surface has developed a very nice, even patina, enriching its golden tones and adding depth and character while retaining a luxurious, polished finish.
