G1556) appears in the 1926 GEC lighting catalogue as a premium model of the period. Crafted from thick moonstone glass with a soft opalescent glow, the bowl is paired with refined brass fittings, showcasing classic Art Nouveau craftsmanship with early hints of Art Deco elegance. The beaded brass band and extended arms are complemented by square-link chain and a quality cast brass ball hook, adding depth and richness to the overall design. Generally, ES or BS lamp holders are used unless otherwise stated and are fully compatible with main dimmers and modern LED filament bulbs. Our lights can be wired to bespoke specifications, longer lengths, different cable types and compatibility with specialist dimming systems such as DALI can all be accommodated. Lights supplied to U.S.A and Canada are installed using UL Certified cable and lamp holders. As standard we supply round black fabric cable and E26 holders. Please note that although we use UL certified components our original reclaimed lights do not come with UL certification. Due to the antique nature of our original vintage lights, we cannot offer an official IP rating and cannot guarantee our lights for external use.
