About the Item
One of a set of three refurbished, beautifully designed and crafted, octagonally shaped and multi-faceted clear glass and brass midcentury pendant lights. These large minimalistic, Contemporary Art Deco lantern style lights were manufactured by Glashütte Limburg, Germany, from the 1960s - 1970s and then again in the 1980s - 1990s. This is the largest light made by Limburg in this model range and would be perfect over a large dining table and / or used in combination with our other matching Limburg lights - available in our 1stdibs store.
Original EU wiring in good working order. The light requires one standard E27 screw fit lightbulb / E26 for US customers (75Watt max.)

Hans-Agne Jakobsson
Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior and furniture designer, who ran his own company from 1951. Jakobsson was especially famous for his lighting designs, which often had a softly glowing light and organic shape. His designs were inspired by great, modern Scandinavian designers such as the Finnish icon Alvar Aalto and Danish lighting master Poul Henningsen.
