Mathieu Matégot (attr.) Perforated Metal Pendants, France

About the Item

Set of two angular perforated metal pendants attributed to French-Hungarian designer Mathieu Matégot (1910-2001) in the 1950s. Five rectangular cream yellow metal sheets with a slight greenish tint creating a tall pentagon shape with slender gray sides and white lacquered top. This rare pair of ceiling lights illuminates a space beautifully. Rewired and in great vintage condition. Price is for the pair. France, 1950s.
