Tulip shaped pendant light by Mazzega Murano, Italy, 1960s.
Italian Mazzega flower shape pendant ceiling light with textured amber and clear glass lampshade. This suspension lamp hangs from a chain with brass links topped by a brass canopy.
The tulip lampshade has glass is two tone. It is made of hand blown clear glass and nicely executed with masterful waves as petals and organic design. This is overlaid with amber glass drops sluicing from the crest down in an eye-catching and highly decorative way.
The interior part of the lampshape has textured glass that creates an ice glass or frosted glass effect.
This piece will be a nice addition to a hall, foyer or bedroom. Also interesting hanging over a kitchen's table or dining area in any Midcentury, classical or contemporary decoration.
