About the Item
Delicious ceiling lamp ishaped of a hot air balloon. The main body (air balloon) is metal with original hand painted red, white, blue and gold festoons and rosettes
There are four curved brass rod lighting arms, each carrying a single e14 screw fitting lamp holder. The arms connect to the bottom of the balloon "basket" and are also decorated with additional festoons and rosettes with braided metal rope details. A brass rod fixes the chandelier to its rose window. French manufacture from the 1950s. Wear consistent with age and use.
Only "air balloon" height 40cm, width 30 cm.
