Mid-Century German Space Age Aluminum and Glass Pendant Lamp from Doria, 1960s

About the Item

Rare mid-century louvre pendant light from Doria. The lamp has a classic dome shape. The centre section is broken up into flat lamellae. with a diameter of 45 cm, it is one of the larger pendants. Inside is a glass body that serves as a diffuser and at the same time as a support for the louvres and shades of the luminaire. The illuminated glass element emerges at the bottom as a flat dome and between the louvres. The blades and the inside are painted white, the rest of the luminaire is aluminium-coloured. The light is in very good condition with signs of wear (scratches). The louvres are not 100% parallel. Have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs, designer records, or other literature sources for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution, Up to 250V (Europe/UK Standard).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
