About the Item

Mid-century Modern Bamboo Leaves Pendant Light in the style of Ingo Maurer 'Uchiwa', Germany, circa the 1970s. This elegant pendant light, produced in the late 1970s, draws inspiration from Ingo Maurer’s Uchiwa model. The pendant chandelier features a lampshade made up of three overlapping woven wicker palm-leaf-shaped leaves. One socket for E27 (E26) size light bulb. The pendant lamp is in good condition with slight signs of wear. Dimensions: The diameter is circa 50 cm / 19.7 in, height is 45 cm / 17.7 in. The light fixture is in complete working order, but as with all vintage or antique lighting, we always suggest it is tested and installed by a qualified electrician.
