Mid Century Modern Chandelier attr. Seguso Factroy, Sommerso Glass, ca. 1940
About the Item
Beautiful Mid Century Modern, hand blown Murano glass chandelier alluding to a garden with its green and yellow leaves.
This chandelier is masterfully done in yellow, green, clear and 24k gold included Murano glass, and shows several techniques that can be attributed to the Seguso factory and to Flavio Poli's tenure there.
Having 6 arms, (holds e27 bulbs) each finishing in a 24k gold "drip cup" and worth nothing the matching Sommerso glass spheres in the middle column, a feature we have not seen before and we have handled thousand's of lights.
There are no damages except for a hairline crack to one of the Sommerso Spheres in the middle column, which has been stabilized with resin and does not present a risk of breaking anymore.
