About the Item

Rare mid-century Cocoon pendant light by Goldkant Leuchten, based on a design by Friedel Wauer from the 1960s. The Cocoon material provides diffused, atmospheric light. At the same time, the symmetrical lamp body creates an impressive luminous object in the room. The manufacturer Goldkant is known for various Cocoon lamp designs from the 1960s and 1970s. Many Goldkant designs are often attributed to Castiglioni due to the similarity of the patterns and shapes used. The lamp is in very good condition with signs of wear and patina. This piece has an attribution mark.
