Mid-Century Modern Organic Textured Spherical Globe Flush Mount with Chrome Base

About the Item

This elegant Mid-Century Modern flush mount chandelier was realized in Germany, circa 1960. It features four spherical shades in textured translucent glass- each with an abundance of organic curvilinear striations etched into the surface. The globular shades attach to a square backplate in lustrous chrome. With its clean modernist lines and austere geometric forms, this fixture is as versatile as it is aesthetically compelling, blending perfectly with any style of interior from Classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent condition. The fixture accommodates four candelabra based bulbs providing up to 240 watts of light. Germany, circa 1960 Dimensions: 12" W x 12" D x 6" H.
