About the Item

A beautiful and delicate Finnish mid-century ceiling lamp model 2530/5 by Valinte c. 1950s, which was one of the leading lighting manufacturers in Finland. The lamp features five lightbases with hand painted opaline glass shades. The center has floral decorations in brass that remind us of the Tynell floral bouquet lamps. The lamp is not stamped but can be found in one of the 1950s Valinte catalogue. The glass shades differ, but back then customers could choose from many types of shades. The overall condition is good and the patina is beautiful. The lamp is in its original condition. One of the inner clips holding the lamps is missing a small part, but it is neither visible no affects functionality.
