This stunning modernist Sputnik chandelier was realized in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production. It features a polished nickel spherical center surrounded by handblown Murano smoked, grey and clear obelisks. This chandelier has numerous rods that emanate from its center of alternating lengths giving its overall form a staggered multi-dimensional design, and a powerfully graphic silhouette. With its clean modernist lines and beautiful craftsmanship, this piece is as versatile as it is aesthetically compelling, blending perfectly with any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. It boasts twelve-candelabra based bulbs and has been newly rewired to American standards. The height can be adjusted to suit. This piece requires 5-6 weeks lead time.
