This Modernist Smoked Glass Multi-Tier Stepped Tronchi Chandelier W/Chrome Fittings originates from Italy, circa 1980. Featuring a multi-tiered stepped composition of semi translucent smoked Tronchi glass elements hanging from a chrome frame, this elegant fixture is full of dynamic movement as well as a highly sophisticated value gradient as each layer absorbs and diffusers light from the center of the peace. Bringing a cool and sophisticated feel wherever placed this fixture hangs from a cylindrical chrome canopy which pairs beautifully with the semi translucent smoked hue of the glass elements. This piece is newly rewired to American standards with a height that can be adjusted to suit. In excellent vintage condition. Fitted for four candelabra base bulbs achieving up to 240 watts of light.
