These lamps are seriously something special, and they come with a history as glamorous as their aesthetic, having once belonged to a member of the Getty family. Yes, those Gettys. Standing an impressive 25" tall (and even taller with their shades), these conical beauties are crafted from solid ebonized walnut paired with Swedish brass. The base of the lamp starts wide at the bottom, with several inches of the trunk wrapped in gleaming brass. Then—surprise!—the rich, black walnut peeks through as it tapers upward, leading to an astronomical moment: a brass ellipsis that balloons out like a planetary orbit. Honestly, it's a sight to behold, like some celestial dance of design. As the brass curves inward, the cone tapers out again, returning to that striking ebonized walnut neck. The contrast between the bold black wood and the glowing brass is absolutely chef’s kiss—it’s the kind of design that screams "luxury" even if you’re not well-versed in the world of high-end lighting. Topping these celestial wonders are 11" tall x 15.75" in diameter ivory lampshades, perfectly completing the look with their understated elegance. The lamps come with their original harps too, making them ready to steal the scene in any room they’re placed in. As for condition? Both lamps show a beautiful patina on their brass—one of the ellipses has a bit more than the other (as seen in the photos), but honestly, that just means it's been loved a little more. This dining table is equal parts post modern and industrial modern and just oozes California modernism. This dining table or writing desk was designed by Robert Josten in the 1970's. Made of aluminum, this metal grille / grid style is a staple of Robert Josten's work. This dining table is a great transitional piece that could easily flex into any contemporary environment. This table is absolutely gorgeous. It's a cast metal body with what a cold cast bronze outer shell. This one of a kind, custom piece came out of an estate in the Pacific Palisades filled with the most incredible furniture by Paul Evans, Daniel Gluck and Italian designer pieces. Unfortunately we have been unable to identify the creator of this piece, but it is very much in the style of Paul Evans and his cold cast bronze line for Directional. The table base measures 56" L x 24" D x 28.25" T. The glass on the table base is also custom, 3/4" thick with docked corners for a very unique look when up close and personal. This table is remarkably sturdy, and very heavy. This unique table would also look incredible as a writing desk. This incredible table is currently in the gallery paired with like designer pieces by Paul Evans, and Silas Seandel, but would also look wonderful paired with more contemporary pieces like Milo Baughman thin line chairs...
