Organic Italian Mid-Century Modern Curvilinear Brass and Frosted Glass Pendant

About the Item

This sophisticated and graphic pendant was realized in Italy, circa 1950. It offers the bold organic design sensibility that discerning collectors of the time and place adore. The piece features two adjoining bulbous forms with a circular cut-out at the bottom that connects to the ceiling via a circular canopy in polished brass. With its idiosyncratic form and impeccable construction, this piece is as timeless as it is visually compelling, blending seamlessly with any style of interior from quintessentially Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent condition. The height can be adjusted to suit. Italy, circa 1960 Dimensions: 39" height X 13" diameter.
