About the Item

A striking and most unique pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. ormolu chandeliers. Each three arm, four light chandelier is centered by a single light below a charming wonderfully executed flowing tied ribbon. The ribbon seemingly ties the three staff like arms together leading to lovely foliate candle cups and richly chased acorn finials. At the center is a swaging ormolu fabric design leading up to the original chain and pierced foliate top crown.
