About the Item
Planetes S-19 is a sculptural flush-mount made of 19 hand-blown glass spheres — each one both different and unique, arranged close together to create a dense, sculptural composition that plays with transparency, layering, and luminous reflections.
The globes are suspended by diagonally cut silver-plated brass stems that pierce the air, underlining the chandelier's shape.
Discreetly integrated LED lights are housed within the rods, softly illuminating the spheres from within. The result is a delicate interplay of iridescent reflections and subtle motion—an effect that is both dramatic and ethereal.
The piece holds tension: heavy with presence, yet floating. Precise, but organic. Defined, yet open to transformation.
This piece is customizable:
While presented here in a circular configuration, Planeta S-19 can be crafted in oval or organic shapes upon request.
Dimensions can also be tailored to fit specific spaces or design visions.
The finish is meticulously handcrafted, beginning with a bath in pure silver.
It is then gently hand-oxidized to achieve the light final patina.
Finally, a light layer of transparent varnish is applied with a brush to seal the finish.
