Playful Pendant with Six Spheres in Opaline Glass

About the Item

Pendant or chandelier, opaline glass, lacquered metal, Europe, 1960s Very charming and nice looking chandelier made in Europe in the 1960s. This pendant features a body and detailing in cream white lacquered metal. A body that connects to the ceiling connects to six thin arms. Wiring appears from the slender rods and leads to bulbs in opaline glass in multiple sizes creating a soft and playful effect. The soft opaline glass provides a beautiful source of light, six warm and glowing shades. The pendant shows many characteristics to the lighting of RAAK Amsterdam. The chandelier was made in Milan (Italy) between 1960 and 1962 and we can safely attribute it to the company Stilnovo. Founded in Milan by Bruno Gatta, in 1946, Stilnovo was for years the most important reality in the world of lighting equipment design.
