Clizia Mama Non Mama is a suspension inspired by pure natural beauty, with almost weightless petals that bring balanced allure and a fresh feel to interiors. A hand-folded bouquet of Cristalflex® is an ode to joy, femininity, primordial affection, and effortless emotion. For Clizia’s first decade, Mama Non Mama shines in a powerful, luxurious combination of black and gold. The 130cm diameter technopolymer suspension is designed for larger-scale projects. The gold finish is the result of incessant research of how to adhere double-sided gold leaf through cold application to Slamp’s tecnopolymers. The crackle texture makes each petal more resistant, casting plays of light and shadow throughout a space.
GOLD FOIL
THE ART OF GOLD LEAF WITH A SUSTAINABLE PROCESS
In 2023, Slamp introduced a new metallization method that offers endless decorative possibilities: the application of a dual-sided gold foil on Slamp’s technopolymer.
This foil, applied cold to the material, not only provides the brilliance of metallization to the surface but also a tactile quality perceptible through the thickness of the gold application, achieving an effect that cannot be reproduced with paints and prints.
In the craquelet and brushed texture, light filters through the decorative pattern, enhancing its brightness, emphasizing shapes and creating a highly decorative warm pattern
