Stilnovo Height Adjustable UFO Suspension Pendant 'Sgned'
About the Item
Signed Stilnovo UFO flying saucer shaped pendant light made of spun aluminum with an opaque white plexi reflector secured by a sculptural cast aluminum bottom finial suspended by a height adjuatable cloth covered curly cord weighted by a block of black granite embellished with nickeled metal and original canopy.
Original Stilnovo Milano sticker remains on top center of spun aluminum dish.
Suspension system allows for easy adjustment of pendant height simply by sliding the box midway up the cables and spiral black cord.
Two E27 sockets for standard Edison screw lightbulbs.

The 2016 Stilnovo monograph by Thomas Brauniger shows model 1244 as a similar sospensione a saliscendi with vernice nera as designed by Gaetano Sciolari.
