Early 1900s rare and sculptural chandelier.
This antique and heavy quality chandelier comes with a mounted putti group sculpture and we think the underlying meaning is of all times. The bronze sculpture atop this work of lighting art shows us six putto figures that go arm in arm. It seems to be saying that 'the youth are the future' and 'united we stand'. In many countries in the world, the new generations are faced with problems that seem to be (and often are) centuries old. They face the task of doing and making things better than the generations before them. Standing atop this stunning bronze chandelier the individual putto figures certainly have a determined look on their faces. A look that is saying 'not on my watch'!
