Wonderful Mid-Century Modern ceiling light with teakwood and art glass shades. This vintage light fixture has a beautiful look and feel and you will hardly ever find a light fixture from the Mid-Century Modern era with more stylish or artistic glass shades. If you use your imagination then you can still see the influence of the so called space age in the design of this rare pendant, but the calm colors, we believe, take this pendant to a higher level. The geometrically rounded shape of all the individual elements combined with the 'split level' design really makes this midcentury pendant an absolute joy to own and to look at. The modernist patterns in the art glass shades too make this light very desirable and classy and we believe it therefor could also work very well in a 21st century, modern interior. Unfortunately we don't know who the designer is, but judging from the pure midcentury design and the quality materials, we feel, this can only be by one of the big names in Scandinavian design. The combination of its large size and its 'broad design' with the calm, teakwood elements also makes it the perfect 'chandelier' to complement a mid-century modern living room, kitchen area, office or master bedroom. There is a metal hook inside the canopy via which you can mount this fixture in a matter of minutes. The cleanly striped glass shades and all teakwood elements are in perfect condition.
