A Suite of 12 Large Opaline Globe Bronze-Mounted Pendant Fixtures
About the Item
A 1920s bronze pendant light with a large white opal glass globe. The bronze fitter has a dark antique patina and is cast with decorated wreath and ribbon design, supported by a large loop, heavy decorative chain and original bell -shaped ceiling canopy. The fitter has a interesting decorative hinged clasp that holds the large globe securely in place and is locked by chained pin.
We have twelve of these. Such an extensive group of antique high quality lighting comes to market very infrequently. These custom pendant lights were installed on the ground floor of the flagship Eaton's department store in Montreal. They are in all original condition and newly wired. We would offer a discount for a bulk purchase. Although from the 1920s, there are many decorative schemes both domestic and commercial that would be enhanced by these attractive fixtures.

- Condition:Rewired: Wiring has been rewired to CSA standards. Wear consistent with age and use. Some globes have minor chips to the glass fitting ring on the top of the globe that is hidden inside the bronze fitter when installed.
