About the Item
This pendant light is a real gem from the 1930s, and it's in amazing condition for its age. The frame of the lampshade itself is made of metal, and the lampshade is then covered with very high-quality artificial silk. The silk is smooth in the upper area and in a gathered, pleated look in the lower area. The edge of the light is trimmed with a high-quality gold cord, the lamp itself is held in place by a Bakelite cap, and the canopy is made of aluminum. Everything on this lamp is original, including the power cable, which has been replaced with a similar one to maintain authenticity. The shape of this lamp is reminiscent of a UFO, both the lampshade and the canopy. The light from this lamp is beautifully subdued and envelops the room in a cozy, warm glow.
