About the Item

An unusual, neo-Gothic style, eight-arm chandelier, representing a bird with wings deployed, with a snake coming out of its body, and eating another snake. The serpent's tail twists around the central shaft of the chandelier. The bobeches are typically Gothic in style. Ends in an elegant, elongated finial. The details are beautifully made, with intricate patterning on the serpents' heads and the birds wings.
