About the Item
Striking so called 'L'Amo' ceiling lamp designed by Valmassoi Conti and manufactured by Luci, Italy 1970. This fantastic large sized ceiling lamp is a nice example of radical Italian design. It has a black painted tubular center point which supports the bendable and adjustable arm. The arm is like a fishing rod telescope made of carbon which makes it very bendable. You can choose which angle you want by adjusting the shade more up or down and the arm more to the left or right. The position of the shade is also adjustable per shade, and the diffusers are made of chrome plated die cut metal which give a nice light effect when lit. The idea of this design, and also the metal rings which support the electrical wiring are clearly based on the fishing rod princible. A very rare and beautiful large sized ceiling lamp in very good original condition. On the last 3 pictures you will see a floor lamp version of this model which we also have in stock, this is available in another listing. The lamp is marked with the LUCI sticker at the metal base. The lamp uses 2x E27 bulb up to 75 watt each.
This lamp is checked in our own atelier, cleaned and is suitable for use in the USA. For US usage we could change the plug or you can get a converter if needed for a floor or table lamp with transformer in it. Feel free to inquire for options.
