About the Item
Large Mid-Century Modern Cocoon Pendant Lamp. Made in Germany.
Great minimalist 1950s design. A rare shape for a cocoon lamp.
A long, round metal grid is the frame, with the cocoon shade above.
Creates a very pleasant, warm light.
Good original vintage condition.
The cocoon shade has no damage such as cracks or holes.
Over the years, at one point along the lower edge, the shade has become slightly detached from the frame. Nothing bad, as it's not noticeable, when the lamp is hung.
The frame is made of white painted metal. No rust and not bent.
Very nice, light patina.
Works with 220V and 110V. Rewired due to age and suitable for all countries.
Fully functional, with one original E27 brass socket.
Suitable for all living areas and very decorative.
