Vintage Italian Gilt and Painted Six Light Chandelier

About the Item

This very nice light fixture done in an 18th-century style is part of the resurgence in antique style so loved by Cafe Society in the early part of the century. Italian and painted in a soft old white on top of gesso with gilding the fixture is easily transported and can be disassembled with speed and easy effort. The paint color shows wear and age as does the gilding but it adds to the charm and style of the piece as it stands now. Unwired at this point for shipping or transportation but easily electrified at the customers request the piece is also great as a candle chandelier and has been used that way at some point in the past as it has wax residue all over the cups
