About the Item
Imposing Space Age pendant lamp from Italy.
The luminous body is designed in trumpet shape and extends strongly downwards. At the top he ends with a hood on the hood that settles off the screen with a wide joint. The hood hides the suspension of the umbrella and thus forms a clean end. The aluminum is polished to high gloss and reflects the surroundings. The reflective surface breaks the contours of the large umbrella and lets it resign. On the underside, a Konkaver reflector inserts off with slots, in the middle of which the frame is located. The edge is closed with a diffuser disc made of translucent acrylic glass. This complex structure leads to a special lighting effect. The lamp releases direct light down. At the same time, light falls through the slit of the reflector and creates a symmetrical strip pattern on the diffuser disc. The operation of the lamp with a head -mirror lamp would still highlight this indirect and diffuse lighting effect. The canopy is elaborate and suitable for the lamp. Unfortunately, the manufacturer of the lamp is currently not known.
The lamp is in very good condition with signs of wear. The surface was professionally polished by an artisan and the lamp was re-wired.
