American Empire Wrought Iron Floor Lamp, circa 1910
About the Item
Wrought iron American Empire early 20th Century floor lamp.
The scale and exuberance of Newport Rhode Island at the turn of the 20th century with lots of gilt painted rosettes, gilt rope collars, gilt darts and twists.
An elongated vase shape with great scale and a multitude of twisted and cast details.
Beautifully composed with a large later faux mica shade.
The lamp has been professionally rewired and is in excellent vintage condition.
