About the Item
Incredible antique Japanese floor lamp fabricated by hand with primitive, humble wood and painted finish. The lamp features an open top with an integrated carrying handle and a door to access a candle for illumination. Shade on all (4) sides consists of vintage Washi paper. Small integrated drawer at base with simple metal pull for storing matches. Thin bronze plate at base of lamp to catch all wax drippings. In excellent vintage condition with wear consistent with age to the piece.
