Beautiful Bul-Bo Floor lamp by Roberto Gabetti and Aimaro Isola for Linea GB Milano, Italy, 1969.
A nice design, where the cream leather weighted sack serves as a base to balance the arch ending at the light bulb. The light bulb is fitted in a flat metal plate with playful round gaps and a gap which fits the light bulb perfectly following its shape. This metal plate can be adjusted to be placed at an angle. A unique design which has a strong appearance due to the combination of the metal, rubber and cream leather. Create a beautiful ambience in your space with this incredible Bul-Bo lamp!
Roberto Gabetti (Turin, November 29, 1925 – Turin, December 5, 2000) was an Italian architect and university professor. Along with Aimaro Isola he opened an architectural office, studio Gabetti Island, and continues intensively in the following decades with a focus on technological experimentation. From there on they developed this interesting, hard to find floor lamp.
