This exquisite Einar Bäckström Model "7402" floor lamp captures the sophisticated elegance of mid-century Swedish design, crafted circa 1950s. The light can be directed in different directions, used as a reading lamp next to a lounge chair, or used as an uplighter.
The lamp was made in Einar Bäckström's workshop in Malmö, Sweden. A rare and timeless addition to any collection.
In fair vintage condition. Wear consistent with age and use. The brass has a beautiful patina with some marks, one small dent in the foot as you can see in the photographs. The shade is a later replacement, handmade in Sweden as well.
