About the Item
A set of 4 floor lamps model A15 designed by Alain Richard and produced by Disderot between 1958 and 1969. These lamps with a very pure and elegant design were only produced from 1958 to 1969, so they are not edited anymore. They have a marble base which together with their particular shape forms a circle when assembled. They also have their own paralume, a kind of squared lampshade created by Alain Richard which allows the light to be concentrated in one point so as not to be dazzled. This is a very nice set of lamps in very good condition. Alain Richard (1926-2017) was a French designer, graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (ENSAD) he worked on many national projects and received several awards such as the one of the Milan triennial in 1954. These lamps are quite revealing of the designer's talent.
