About the Item
Stunning table or floor lamp made of hand-blown Murano glass designed by F. Fabbian, 1970s. Flattened spheriacl shape and totally round, made of milky or opaline Murano glass with golden sparkles using a very particular and curious glass technique called "Phoenician". In this process, several glass ribbons of different colors, in this case white, grey and pink, are intertwined and when blowing, these "volute" borders are created throughout the piece, creating an unique pattern, also very typical of the creations of the Seguso and Venini glass factories. Base and top finished in golden chrome metal. A very rare piece very much in the style of the artistic creations of Vistosi, De Majo and Leucos.
For an E27 bulb. Revised electrification. Wear on the metal typical of the age of the piece.
