Large Brown Fat Lava Ceramic Floor Lamp by Richard Essig, 1960s, Germany

About the Item

Expressive large fat lava floor lamp – here with the very best of the German 60s-70s design of the mid 20th century. 'Richard Essig' is a well acclaimed German artist of the time. Chunky dark chocolate browns with cream coloured bubbling lava glaze running along the holes, which allow the inner light to glow brightly and shed warm light dots onto the floor, which gives a lively sparkling effect. Here shown with the original lamp shade, which can be inquired about separately, if there is interest. Wiring universal, incl. the US, 110-240v.
