Bridging earth and sky, ’The Moulin Floor Lamp’ is a sculptural exploration of light, form, and function. A striking interplay of high-polished inox and
hand-blown glass, it marks Kym Ellery’s bold entry into collectible design.
Its hand-curved base, substantial yet fluid, opens to a void before the central stem rises skyward, culminating in a dual-light moulin arm. Rotating 360 degrees, the arm allows for effortless customization, while the delicately crafted glass shades diffuse a soft, ambient glow.
Inspired by a piece of archival ELLERY jewelry, this lamp extends Kym’s design language into a new dimension. In collaboration with master Parisian and Italian artisans, Ellery has ensured that each detail reflects a commitment to craftsmanship and savoir-faire.
Produced in a limited edition of eight, ‘The Moulin Floor Lamp’ is both a work of art and a testament to the enduring value of handcraft.
Atelier Ellery
My practice is rooted in architectural form, material tension, and the relationship between object and body. I work primarily with metals—materials that carry weight, memory, and permanence—shaped into sculptural pieces that invite both physical and visual interaction. These objects often explore gravitational dynamics, considering how weight, balance, and form affect the way the body approaches, responds to, or is held by a structure.
These forms often explore boundaries: between intimacy and distance, stillness and movement, structure and softness. Many of my works can be touched, sat in, or moved; kinetic elements are introduced to create a sense of calm, presence, and responsiveness. A movement might echo the body’s gesture or rhythm, subtly shifting how one relates to space.
I’m interested in how sculpture can function as a site; something to enter into, rest within, or observe quietly. By folding materials around imagined or real bodies, I seek to create objects that hold a charge: sculptural presences that feel at once solid and open, architectural and emotional.
Each piece is a study in form, but also feeling; how a curve invites approach, how a divide becomes a threshold, how metal, when worked by hand, retains the trace of care.

Galerie Philia
Galerie Philia is an international contemporary sculptural design and art gallery representing emerging and established designers and artists. The gallery is the brainchild of two brothers who share a lifetime passion for art, literature and philosophy. Their distinct academic background sets them apart from their peers, as it sees them following a rhizomatic and transcultural approach in the way they select works. This involves combining elements from multiple cultures in what becomes a network of harmoniously interconnected roots, ultimately revealing the beauty of each unique creation. The gallery’s non-hierarchical curation sits apart from the ephemerality of trends and focuses instead on the true aesthetic quality of the piece – alluring and timeless. Unlike others, Galerie Philia does not focus on a single style – whether minimalist, organic or raw – but rather embraces heterogeneity. The Galerie Philia takes pride in discovering new talents, providing them with multiple international platforms to showcase their latest creations. As well as propelling the newest generation of 21st century collectible design, Galerie Philia also works with internationally known design artists. Galerie Philia has a strong international presence, with galleries in Geneva, New York and Singapore. In addition to their permanent spaces, the gallery organizes temporary group exhibitions and artists residencies in first-class locations around the world.
