Pair of Alfredo Barbini for Murano Glass Black Metal and Chrome Floor Lamps
About the Item
A pair of Alfredo Barbini for Murano glass floor lamps. This gorgeous set of floor lamps feature a full metal frame and a stunning set of Murano glass lamp shades. Each of the lamp shades are unique to the piece and hand blow. They feature an all white coloration, with rippled accenting. They have very soft curves, and let off a lovely glow when lit. The lamp head has three bulb housings as pictured above. The frame features a matte black metal with weighted chrome bases. These lamps plug into wall outlets for power and are turned on with white floor buttons. Each of these piece are in very good condition. They measure 59 inches tall, and have a diameter of 15.75 inches.

Alfredo Barbini
Alfredo Barbini (1912–2007), a glass artist born in 1912 on the islands of Murano in the lagoon of Venice, Italy, was one of Murano's leading figures of the 20th century. His parents were members of families, which had been prominent in the glassmaking industry on Murano for generations as glassblowers and beadmakers.
