Pair of French Forged Iron 'Star' Floor Lamps After Diego Giacometti
About the Item
A timeless pair of French Mid-Century Modern neoclassical style hand forged iron floor lamps decorated with the form of a star, after Alberto & Diego Giacometti. These custom pieces are elegant, modern, ancient and poetic, all in the same breath. They are substantially composed in hand-hammered iron and delicately patinated with hints of bronze. Resting on sculpted and tapered tripod bases, they rise and display the symbol of a star. Model: Etoile. The pieces can be custom forged to suit the height needed. Approximate Dimensions with shades: H: 72 x 17 the shades shown are for demonstration only. Jean-Michel Frank retailed the creations of the Giacometti's at his atelier.
