Pair of theatrical stage lights by Strand Electric, Great Britain 1940.

About the Item

Pair of stage theatre spotlights by the English company Strand Electric Theatre Light, model: Patt 23, known as Baby spot. The electrical wiring has been restored by replacing the original lamp holder with a standard E27 for convenience in finding the otherwise unobtainable lamp with the original bayonet fitting. Ventilated die cast aluminium body and lens tube group, with front and rear reflectors. Original 3.5" convex lens plus fixing ring. Gel frame blocks. The external body is polished like the internal plates, the knobs are in black bakelite, the lamp holder is in original ceramic. Great Britain, late 1940s. (Also sold separately 850 Euro each)
