Rare Pair Italian Mid-Century Modern Nickel & White Enamel Floor Lamps, Reggiani

About the Item

A Rare and Iconic pair of Italian Mid-Century Modern floor lamps by Reggiani reflecting the refined Italian Minimalist aesthetics of the late 1960's and 1970's period. The pieces possess the pure aesthetics of Italian Design with pure forms and a complimentary color palette. The metal bases, stems and reflectors are all elegant forms and there is a perfect color balance with nickel bases / stems and the white enameled steel reflectors. The pieces are multi-functional; each lamp has 2 reflectors and each reflector articulates / rotates to direct light up, down or any direction needed. Two 60 watt bulbs. Provenance: These lamps appeared in the James Bond Film, Live and Let Die, 1973, starring Roger Moore and were featured in Mr. Big's/ Kananga's (Yaphet Kotto) hideaway.
