Exceptional set of ceramic bubble lamps, Germany, 1960s. Beautiful sculptural pieces made of handmade ceramic in rich glazed brown or yellow grey tones. With special new custom made warm yellow lamp shades by René Houben. With warm bronze inner lay.
The set is in perfect vintage condition. The lamps are offered included shades! Sold as a set as a pair or individually.

Floor lamp (2) ceramic only H 17.1" (43.5 cm) x Ø 5.9" (15 cm) at base height to top of lamp-holder circa 68.9” (175 cm).
Table lamp (1) ceramic only H 46.6" (117 cm) x Ø 9.8" (25 cm) at base height to top of lamp-holder circa 30.7" (78 cm).
René Houben is a renowned Dutch light designer. René has been designing unique lamp shades for more than 25 years. From colorful and exuberant to modest. For every extraordinary lamp base (carefully selected antique and vintage items), he designs an applicable shade. His custom made creations are unique because of his interesting use of form and color. They also stand out because of their indirect, soothing and intimate light. Houben is well known and loved by interior designers and decorators all-over Europe.
