Sousaphone Contemporary Oak Tripod Floor Lamp with Brass Screen
About the Item
Sousaphone draws inspiration from the gleaming gramophones of the early 20th century and reinterprets them to illuminate spaces. Its brass or copper screen creates unique and soft reflections. Where social gatherings were once enlivened by the gramophone's rough sound, ACOOCOORO now seeks to recreate its shine, silhouette, and presence.
As with the rest of ACOOCOORO’s collection, this piece carved and polished by hand, and assembled using traditional wood joints. Both the metallic screen and the two-tier oak tripod offer some options for customization.
The signs of time, history, and use are valuable for ACOOCOORO. Most finishes and materials used in this collection are meant to reflect the passage of time, and may change and age in appearance.
