Vintage Italian Brass Tone Floor Lamp with Five Bows and Avant Gard Base, 1980s
About the Item
Offered for sale is a big, unusual and scenic floor lamp in brass and gold tones, made in Italy in the 1980s. It has got a strong presence thanks to the unusual and decorative shape; its five slanted bows, superimposed and each culminating in a light bulb, are thin and elegant; the base, flat and almost aerodynamic, makes for a very contemporary and avant-garde look.
The lamp is ideal to compliment a living area, or to reach above a dining table; thanks to its sleekness, though, it can also be placed alongside a wall so its unique design can be fully appreciated.
It is preserved in great conditions; absolutely solid and stable, it is also perfectly working. The wiring, switch and plug are original; the five light bulbs are contemporary LED ones with a gold coated top to match the finishing of the lamp.
