About the Item
Stunning Mid-Century Modern textured ice glass flushmount light fixture made by German manufacturer Hillebrand, circa 1965.This vintage ceiling lamp, often mistakenly attributed to Kalmar, features a huge round glass dish is made of Italian 'Frit' Murano glass - a technique involving hundreds of tiny glass shards which are molded into the glass during its manufacture, giving the piece a heavy ice appearance which refracts the light, filling a room with a soft, warm and welcoming glow.
Mounted on a polished solid brass flush mount and held in place by three large, round brass screws.
Newly re-wired and cleaned the light requires four E14 screw fit light bulbs (40Watt Max. per bulb).
