About the Item

Elegant, dramatic large French Mid-Century Modern Neoclassical gilt iron fixture in the form of a crown or sunburst with a frosted glass center reflector. This piece is deeply influenced by the legendary French master iron worke of the 1940's, Gilbert Poillerat. The design conception is symmetrical, harmonious and balanced and the the iron projections provide drama. The piece can be flush mounted or hung as a pendant via a stem or chain to desired height.
