Large & Great Condition 3 Light Mid-Century Modern Glass Flush Mount W Teak Wood
About the Item
Great Mid-Century Modern design ceiling light with teak wood and circular pattern in the glass shade.
This vintage light fixture has a beautiful look and feel and you will hardly ever find a light fixture from the Mid-Century Modern era with a more timeless glass shade. The circular patterns are alternately white and near transparent and because of its timelesness it will also work very well in a 21st century, modern interior. What makes this large shade flush mount extra special (in our view) is that it hardly reflects anything that is around or underneath it. This makes it look extra 'calm' and stylish. Unfortunately we don't know who the designer is, but judging from the pure midcentury design and the quality materials, we feel, this can only be by one of the bigger names in Scandinavian design. The combination of this flush mount's large Size and its stylish design with the teak wood elements makes it the perfect 'chandelier' to complement a Mid-Century Modern living room, kitchen area, office or bedroom. There is a metal hook inside the canopy via which you can mount this fixture in a matter of minutes. In image 13 you can see a ring and 'nut' just below the canopy. By screwing the nut upward, this fixture can be screwed all the way up and tight to your ceiling. The good Size canopy will perfectly cover your junction box. The cleanly striped glass shade and all three teak wood elements are in near mint condition. In image 10 you can see how the shade is connected with the canopy via three beautiful brass arms. This stylish fixture has a sleek yet very calm look and feel and because of its two tone shade it will work beautiful in all kinds of color schemes. Most photos of this fixture were shot on a relatively dark day and that is why we included some photos of it whilst on our wooden floor on a bright day. Both with the lights switched on and off this handcrafted work of beauty is an absolute joy to look at and it will perfectly balance your living space.
