About the Item
Terrific pair of wrought iron sunburst flush mounts with spikes design and parcel-gilt finish. France, 1940s.
These eye-catching sunburst ceiling lights have a strong design with pointed spikes in sunburst disposition. They have two layers of iron nails as rays surrounding a central ring panel with an exposed bulb. They have a dramatic aged patina and an interesting design with Art Deco and Brutalist accents.
Place them flush mounted or hanging from a chain as pendants but they also could work as wall sconces.
On sale as a set.
Newly wired with 1 E27 bulb holder /each.
The chain and the canopy are not included: For demonstration only.
